American Constitutional Law…

Studying for my midterm tomorrow on this subject is KILLING ME. Why are most if not ALL legal terms in Latin?

“a fortiori, a posteriori, actus reus, dicta, writ of habeus corpus, write of mandamus, writ of certiorari” to list a few…. GAHHH should be called Latin Constitutional Law. GO DIE.

I can’t wait for the coming two weeks. Next weekend, I’ll be in Times Square spending time with Jason Watanabe along with his Junior MUN-ers (Edmond Yun, Ganesh Tilve, Ruben Junior). And then… California.. and then New York City again to hang out with Linette Chang! It’s been too long, Big Apple. I hope to get some tickets to see Jeremy Lin at the MSG!

The last two days have been amazing —spiritually. Just spending one on one time with God has really refreshed me and it feels so good to be back on track with the one up stairs. Thank you for those who have and continue to pray for me. Not to mention my accountability partners (you know who you are) that I am SOOOO blessed to have. Having friends who continue to support me and encourage me is something that I a truly cherish. Some versus that I want to share are from Proverbs:

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7

“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding- indeed if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.”  Proverbs 2: 1-5

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

As I’ve been meditating on the book of Proverbs, God has really spoken to me directly about fearing Him and learning to really know who He is. I know that as the days go by, that my relationship with God will only get stronger and my spirit will continue to hunger for him. If you have any prayer requests, please share!

Your brother in Christ,

Richard
